| In the past 5 years, the laboratory has conducted 170 research
subjects, including 102 national, provincial, ministerial and key
subjects. The laboratory enjoys strong competitive edge in terms of
conducting national and key scientific research. In the Tenth
Five-Year Plan period, the laboratory undertakes 18 national
research subjects in national key scientific and technological
projects, projects of national scientific-basic special fund,
scientific research institutes of special social commonweal research
programs and special research programs of technological development
and participates in 5 subjects, which gain RMB 32.2 million national
research fund, listing top in the transport industry in China. The
laboratory also undertakes 10 national research subjects and
participates in 5 subjects, which gains RMB 17.7 million national
research fund, leading the transport industry in China. In 2006, the
laboratory applied for one subject of National Scientific and
Technical Supporting Programs in the 11th Five-Year Period through
open tendering. The nation has offered RMB 35 million for scientific
research expense. The four subjects applied by the laboratory in the
first batch of "863" program of modern transportation technology
filed have been approved, listing top in all the applicants. |
