It studies the micro-features of travel and transport behavior and
macro-features of traffic transportation to seek for the form and
changing trend of modern traffic transportation network under the
influence of information and to find out the stable and mutational
conditions of traffic transportation, which will offer partial
theoretical supports for the development of intelligent transport
systems technology.
Morphological investigation of transportation network on the basis
of information under the environment of WAN;
Traffic monitoring and inductive approach based on traffic
transportation system intelligent coordination theory;
Traffic transportation system simulation, assessment method and
experimental system.
(2) Traffic Objects Information Collection, Identification and
Processing Technique
Research and develop a new generation technology of traffic
objectives identification, information data collection, data fusion,
service and interoperation service, which covers the key technique
and equipment of traffic objectives identification and information
collection, key technique of complex dynamic traffic data fusion,
extraction and calculation and dynamic traffic information share and
integration service system.

(3) Transport Safety Warning and Guarantee Technology
It studies and researches the early warning technology of monitoring
and hazards of people, vehicles, roads and environment in the
operation state, which offers ITS-based security solution to
transportation industry.

application technology of DSRC for traffic security and transport
administration. In view of technical development in coming 5-10
years and the practical application in China, it will conduct the
research of key technology and the development of key equipment of
electronic toll collection based on satellite positioning and
wireless access in the application of on-line charge collection in
China.
